Chiefs Express

The Metro will operate the Chiefs Express for the 2008 season, but with some critical changes.

Changes To Routes, Stadium Drop-off and Pick-up

Due to the major construction in progress at the Truman Sports Complex, there is less parking available and less space for our buses to stage. While we will still have exclusive lanes in and out of Arrowhead, the drop-off and pick-up locations will be much further away from Arrowhead than in the past. You should also anticipate traffic delays simply due to greater auto congestion.

In order to work with the space available for the Chiefs Express at the stadium, it is necessary for us to eliminate two of our pick-up locations. We will no longer pick customers up in Independence or in Kansas City, Ks. We encourage those customers to try an alternative park and ride.

Season Passes and Tickets

Season Passes and Single Game Advance Tickets will be available again this year – at last year’s prices! Passes and tickets will ship the first week in August. In order to receive your order in time for the first preseason game, be sure to order by July 15 using this form (PDF format), or buy online at store.kcata.org.

All express customers, regardless of age, will be charged the full fare. Please have exact cash fare when boarding the Chiefs Express. Operators cannot make change. Metro Monthly passes are not valid on the Chiefs Express.
