Other Commuting Options

There are other options to save by leaving your car at home.

Carpooling is another transportation option available to Northland commuters. The RideShare program at the Mid-America Regional Council provides a free, online carpool matching service called the Carpool Connection. To create a carpool matching profile, go to www.marc.org/rideshare. For more information call (816) 842-7433.

Biking goes a long way in personal health and helping the environment. See how at kcbikefed.org. Metro buses are bike-rack equipped, at no additional cost. Go to the “Rider Guide” link or search “bike” at http://www.kcata.org.
