Chiefs Express Leaves Stadium 30 Minutes After Game Ends
As you know, the stadium construction has greatly impacted Chiefs Express service this year, and we have heard from some Chiefs Express customers who are frustrated with the slow exit times. Unfortunately, the current staging and operating scenario does not enable us to efficiently and safely maneuver buses around other buses. Due to this, we have had to wait about 30 minutes after the end of the game before we can move buses out of the stadium lots. If customers leave the game early, full buses will not be able to depart before the end of the game, as we have in past years.
The Metro has a long history of operating a high quality service for Chiefs games and it is distressing that we have not been able to deliver the same quality of service that our long-time customers are used to.
We have attempted to refine the plan, but because of the constraints there are no other options. The Metro is dedicated to continuing to provide top-notch service and appreciates your patience while we deal with these limitations. Thank you for your patronage.
