Transit and Paratransit Service For Holidays

Area transit providers will observe the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

The Metro and MAX will use Sunday/Holiday schedules on Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Regional Call Center, administrative offices and Customer Service Lobby will be closed. The Share-A-Fare paratransit office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and paratransit service will be provided in eligible areas. Regular weekday service will be provided Dec. 24, Dec. 26 and Dec. 31.

The JO will not offer service on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Special Edition/SWIFT paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed. The JO will offer reduced holiday schedules on Dec. 24, Dec. 26 and Dec. 31. Check www.thejo.com for details.

Unified Government Transit routes will not offer service on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Unified Government Transit Dial-A-Ride paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed. Regular weekday service will be provided Dec. 24, Dec. 26 and Dec. 31.

IndeBus will not offer service on Christmas or New Year’s Day. IndeAccess paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed.
