Public Meetings About Long-Term Vision of Downtown Transit

KCATA will host two public meetings on Wednesday, Feb. 11, to update customers on Kansas City’s long-term vision for downtown transit.

WHAT:
KCATA will present a Project Update based on stakeholder feedback as they continue to develop a strategic plan for Downtown’s transit future. This vision to create a more intuitive, faster, and integrated system includes the concepts of transit emphasis corridors along Grand Boulevard and 11th and 12th Streets, and improved transit stations and facilities.

WHEN:
Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. or 5–6:30 p.m. Identical information will be presented at both meetings. Please choose the one that best fits your schedule.

Brief presentations will provide the public with a project update. Previous public meetings were held in late summer 2014. The public will be invited to view, ask questions, and comment on proposed downtown route changes along the transit emphasis corridors, as well as conceptual designs of proposed transit facilities.
