On behalf of Johnson County Transit (JCT) located in Johnson County, Kansas, KCATA is soliciting written proposals from qualified firms interested in providding the operation and management of transit services in the following areas:  RideKC in Johnson County; RideKC Freedom Johnson County; Sheltered Workshop Industrial Fixed Transit (SWIFT); RideKC in Johnson County Microtransit; and Supplemental Taxi Services.  Firms responsible for RideKC Johnson County, RideKC Freedom Johnson County, and SWIFT service will also be responsible for providing Vehicle Maintenance services, to include spare parts and flud, for these programs.  Each contractor is responsible for their own dispatch services.

KCATA, in partnership with the City of Kansas City (KCMO) and Kansas City Streetcar Authority (KCSCA), is seeking information and technical data from vendors to evaluate the current "state of the art" for outdoor real-time transit signage.  Upon evaluation of available signage systems on the market, Kansas City intends to procue new real time signage for installation on Kansas City's streetcar platforms. 

This is a Request for Information (RFI) and is not a “solicitation,” “Request for Qualifications (RFQ),” “Request for Proposals (RFP),” or procurement of any kind.
